Senator Scott Wilk, R-Santa Clarita, honored ABC 123 Christian Academy (ACA) as June’s 21st Senate District Small Business of the Month. Dr. Breada Leach, President of ABC 123 Christian Academy, was surrounded by friends, family, students, teachers, and the local business community when she was presented with the award.
“Like many small business owners, Dr. Leach had a vision when she started ABC 123 Christian Academy,” said Wilk. “She worked hard and eventually grew the business to include locations in Apple Valley, Hesperia and coming soon to Victorville. And like many small business owners she didn’t forgot to give back to the community while she was building her business. Using biblical principles as her guiding light, service to others seems like part of her DNA.”
Dr. Leach’s accomplishments are many: she currently serves on the Hesperia Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors. She is Ambassador and Vice Chair for the Hesperia 2034 Education Committee, Government Affairs Committee for the Hesperia Chamber of Commerce, she is also an active board member for Community Health Action Network(CHAN) in Victorville, CA., a board member for Today’s Women Foundation, co-chair of the Women’s Leadership committee, and a board member for the Hesperia Lion’s Club International. She is a board member for Halo, a non-profit organization designed to provide charitable, educational, religious and other services to the communities of the High Desert and San Bernardino area. Breada is one of the featured writers in the ZOE Life Publications Devotional for 2014 and 2015. Currently, she is working on her 2016 devotional entitled, Thoughts of The Day Inspired By God.
“Breada is not only a well-respected businesswoman and humanitarian she is an individual who is never shy about attributing the key to her success as keeping God in first place. Her heart is huge,” said Wilk. “So much of what happens in Sacramento is about big businesses and big government. But in reality it is individuals like Dr. Leach and the small businesses here to support her today, who generously give so much to our communities and help our local economy thrive. That is what this award is all about. Congratulations.”
