SACRAMENTO –Senator Scott Wilk, R-Antelope Valley, released the following statement on the selection of a new Senate Republican Leader-Elect:
“Today, my colleagues and I in the Senate Republican Caucus have selected Patricia Bates, R-Laguna Niguel, as our new leader.
“Senator Bates has a long history of public service which includes representing the citizens of Orange County as a County Supervisor, Assembly Member and now as a State Senator. She brings a wealth of knowledge to our caucus and will effectively lead California in the right direction. I look forward to working with her on the issues facing our great State.
